Israel and UK to collaborate and lead the way in tech innovation

Written by Martine Levene

The UK Government recently signed a landmark agreement with Israel for collaboration on science, innovation and technology. As part of the deal, both countries will commit a total of £1.7 million to support joint research focused on technologies ‘vital to our future prosperity and quality of life.’

The agreement with Israel focuses on collaboration on areas of science and innovation, like AI, health and the environment and is part of a series of international collaboration deals made by the UK Government.

Innovation has originated from companies in Israel for many years and we’re proud to be working with one of the country’s most exciting innovative companies, OrCam Technologies. OrCam provides AI-powered assistive technology solutions for people with low vision and learning challenges. Its devices, the OrCam MyEye, OrCam Read 3 and OrCam Learn completely transform the lives of people, giving them independence and confidence, like never before.

We’ve supported OrCam to build its presence within the UK market and have grown brand awareness of its offering with national, broadcast, regional, education, disability and optometry media coverage. Here is the OrCam Learn most recently featured in the Financial Times HTSI magazine.
