Breaking records, setting new targets
Written by Eleanor WillockHalf a year has gone already; our Q2 [Feb-Apr] is finished! And, it’s been another cracker. Thank goodness [or thank our team and clients perhaps]!
Joanna Clark joined our team as a campaign manager from Red Lorry, Yellow Lorry [and follows Lilian Smit’s arrival in Q1]. A couple of months in and Jo is proving to be a hit all round. We have our own internal success nominations to reward good work and she has received at least five already. She is producing some fab results for our clients.
We’re also looking to add another new face to our team, so recruitment has begun again ready for Q3. We need a Senior Campaign Executive or Campaign Manager – ideally with some super-hot B2B tech and public-sector experience. Read more here.
We have continued training, training and more training this quarter. Lilian attended a PR analytics workshop and we had outside visitors join three of our company meetings: Jay Abbott to chat security; Dan Faulks filled us in on life at CNN International and James Cassidy gave us the low down on resilience planning.
In terms of Turnover, Q1 was our best ever – helped by the addition of new clients, CoSector – University of London and Riello UPS. But, we have followed up with our best ever Q2, again helped by new client wins. We have started working with Cortex Intelligent Automation and Cinos Communications.
We had a 19% increase in Turnover from Q1 to Q2 and a 24% increase in Q2 Turnover vs the same time last year. All being well, this will be the 8th successive year we have grown our business.
Perhaps, most importantly, our clients and new clients all continue to be focussed on B2B tech and public sector. This boosts our industry knowledge which we can use to everyone’s advantage. Right now, we’re seeing lots of interest and activity around the integrated care and integration of health and social care markets, and the role that technology can play. Exciting times ahead!
