Q3 – exceeding targets, big time!
Written by Eleanor WillockThe third quarter of our year is gone and I’ve never known one quite like it [I say this slightly nervously in case I jinx the final few months].
In fact, ignore me, I have nothing to be nervous about – there has been no luck involved [good or bad]. Our team is working its socks off and I’m super excited by the results.
We’ve had a record quarter for sales – it was exceptionally good and puts us well on track for an equally exceptional year. The hard work of Toby Gavin to help #govtech suppliers – especially SMEs – understand why a modest agency with bags of relevant knowledge, skills and experience is both a safe bet and an exciting choice is paying off.
We had a 16% increase in Turnover from Q2 to Q3 and a 38% increase in Q3 Turnover vs the same time last year. All being well, this will be the 8th successive year we have grown our business.
Going forward, I hope and expect that Matthew Hancock’s recent investment of £412.5 million to Sustainability and Transformation Partnerships (STPs) to help bolster digitisation efforts will also drive more opportunities for SME suppliers to enter the market [and of course, they will need help from a suitable agency to differentiate and push their unique messages and stories].
Along with other new clients already joining us this year [CoSector – University of London, Riello UPS, Cortex Intelligent Automation and Cinos Communications] we have recently added Servita, Servelec HSC and Arcus Global in the past three months.
Perhaps most excitingly, some of our most recent new clients are using our full range of communications services – media relations, social media support, internal communications and influencer relations. It’s really exciting to see how more and more public sector suppliers need full communications support.
Along with the new faces we added earlier in the year [Joanna Clark and Lilian Smit] we’ve also added Luke Allsop and Caitlin Napier to our team.
We also now have, for the first time, two full teams working in two locations, Paddington and Bristol. We have offices in both, but, of course, we remain committed to letting our team work wherever suits them best. Our Client Services Director, Eleanor Willock is doing a fab job of keeping everyone happy, engaged and developing!
Onwards and upwards to the end of year.
