Digital in the Public Sector – join the debate
Written by Eleanor WillockOn March 4, many tech businesses, employers and specialists are getting together to discuss the progression of digital in the public sector, with a focus on the South West’s role in government transformation.
As the GM of Mantis, a comms agency with offices in Bristol, that works with tech companies that target the public sector, I’m excited about shining the spotlight on our region.
As a South-West based business, you, like us, will be well aware that tech’s influence on the public sector extends way outside London. Government departments based here, and all over the country, want to work with smaller, more local suppliers too.
Join me as facilitator, and a great panel, for conversation and questions on civil service culture around digital transformation, enablement, skills and emerging trends. The event is organised as part of the SW/LIT (South West Leaders in Tech) series, from SR2.
Current panel includes:
- Mark Thompson, professor in Digital Economy at the University of Exeter, Board Member, TechUK and Strategy Director at Methods
- Andrew Sheppard, Head of Digital Operations, HMRC
- Andrew Kemp, Partner, Equal Experts
- Sergio Rojas Buitrago, CTO, Zaizi
This free to attend evening event starts at 6pm at Runway East, Victoria St, Bristol. You can sign up here.
